Scentwork Workshops

Scentwork training is suitable for any dog of any age or ability.  It’s the perfect remedy for confidence building and is a brilliant way to build the bond between dog and owner.  We also believe it’s the most mentally tiring activity your dog can do.

By joining a workshop with Pet Necessities you will learn how to teach your dog to identify the odour of Kong, how to start searching for the odour and to indicate to their handler they’ve found it.  Workshops are booked on ability basis, with some complete beginner sessions and some for the more experienced partnerships who are ready for harder challenges.

Guaranteed fun.  You’ll leave the workshop with a piece of Kong for you to continue your scentwork games at home.  We’re then confident you’ll want to return for another workshop and to progress your training further.

Two hour workshops.  The dogs won’t be working for the full two hours as with some exercises you’ll take it in turns to practise.  There will be a short break in the middle for the dogs to stretch their legs.
